Christopher Jerrod Dooley Jr. (born March 7, 1989), who’s better known by his stage name Hurricane Chris, is an American rapper from Shreveport, Louisiana, his commercial debut single was “A Bay Bay”, and his debut studio album was 51/50 Ratchet (2007) took the world by storm and he quickly rose to fame and gained himself a spot in the industry. He continued to drop music to please his quicky growing fanbase
But unfortunately Hurricane Chris found himself fighting a murder charge in 2020 of a Louisiana man who he claimed to have killed in self defense, since then he’s been maintaining his innocence and sticking to his side of the story of self defense, fast forward to 2023 Christopher Jerrod Dooley Jr. aka hurricane Chris came out victorious as he has been acquitted of all charges stemming from that tragic day this is a major win for the Louisiana artist who could have had his career snatched away if the outcome would of been a guilty verdict
According To FoxNews The Panel Late Tuesday Found The 34-Year-Old Artist, Whose Real Name Is Christopher Dooley, Not Guilty Of Second-Degree Murder In The Slaying Of Danzeria Farris Jr., 32, And Illegal Possession Of Stolen Things,
A Caddo Parish Grand Jury indicted Dooley in October 2020 in connection with the June 19, 2020 slaying of Farris who was shot several times at a Texaco station. He was pronounced dead at an area hospital.

Now I can hug my son and think about raising him to be a man. This situation drained me and affected my health greatly. God I give u all the glory.
